Portelli Weighing Systems is a branch of the company I.V. Portelli & Sons Ltd. It was established in 1990 with the initial scope of work focusing the import and sale of Ishida mechanical scales. At the time, the company directors looked to broaden the horizon for I.V. Portelli & Sons Ltd. and delve into a new sector to add onto their already successful and widely respected agriculture brand.

What started out to be a small idea and new business concept, focusing on just weighing scales, grown to establish PWS and I.V. Portelli & Sons Ltd. as one of the leading companies in Malta in this business sector. Over the years, Portelli Weighing Systems has grown to consist of two departments: the sales department and the service department. The product line and services offered by PWS has also expanded well beyond just weighing scales and now caters to a vast array of industries across Malta and Gozo.

The sales department deals with the import and sale of high-quality electronic weighing scales, food processing machinery, thermal printers, price-tag printers, queuing systems and other equipment for industrial, commercial, or professional usage. On the other hand, the service department ensures that the customer’s journey goes beyond the purchase of the product. With its very own fully trained and qualified technical team, the company is able to provide excellent after sales service to ensure that our clients can purchase products with peace of mind.
